I'm getting a eVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra for my computer and I'm going to be putting it on a Socket 939 Motherboard making it run along side a AMD Athlon 64 FX-53 and 2 GB Memory, the motherboard for now will be a Gigabyte. Now, whats the difference between PCI Express and AGP 4x, 8x? Which one is faster and which one should I choose? If anyone could give me some info I would appriecate it...

PCI-E is faster, but the cards out today wont use the bandwidth.

Essentially they are the same, just remember that AGP cards wont work in PCI-E slots and vice-versa.

No difference worth noting right now WRT games. Not even AGP 4x's bandwidth appears to be limiting even top-end modern cards when it comes to PC gaming.

PEG (PCI Express for Graphics, aka PCIe x16) is faster, but you can't exactly choose it ATM with AMD, as there aren't any PEG-equipped AMD MBs available yet, AFAIK. They should be coming in the next few months from both nVidia and Via.
