PCI Express & CrossFire: Scaling Explored

Wheres the CrossfireX? Where's the part where they find out that PCI-E 1.1 doesn't cripples a single 4870x2?

That's my experience... ASUS needs a new P5K BIOS!

Couple problems here.

1) 8.9 drivers were used. which was from september
2) No 1900x1200 scores. who uses 1024x768?

1) I see this as a problem myself. So I agree.
2) My guess would be alot of people.

@JPB

I think you mean 1280x1024, as you not going to find a native 1024x768 LCD. Even so both are useless for CF and we don't need a review to tell us that. 1920x1200 should of been on the list and the result show that.

@VERTIGGO

So you still use 8.9? I've been updating right along no problems. By the way 8.12 gets released today.

I actually use 8.54, since I have an x2. There aren't any correct drivers for 4870X2 yet; my PCI-E 1.1 mobo doesn't work correctly with a PCI-E 2.0 card. It thinks its a PCI-E 2.0 x1 slot and shuts off half of my x2.

Certainly not a useless review, as it did answer some questions. But ya it would've been much better if they included a 4870X2 or some of the faster GTX parts in single slot and SLI.
