PCI Express and SLI for AMD 64?

I'm looking at getting into a AMD 64 set up and might be holding out for PCI Express mobo's. I see that there are some now with 1 PCI-Ex 16x and 2 PCI-Ex 1x. Do you need two PCI-Ex 16x slots to do the SLI thing?

Anyone know when some more Mobo's will be avalible for AMD 64 939 PCIEx combo's? Especially with SLI? Thanks.

Head over to nVNews, there are people using SLI, posting about it. Yes you do need the two 16 X slots.

This thread has where to buy the stuff.

How long will they make AGP cards? Will be see a AGP Nvidia 512mb or has Nvidia gone as far as they will with AGP?

Thanks

id say agp for about 8 months more at where its at(lowto mid/higher class cards available) and then a couple more years of mid class cards at best, followed by the decline(like normal pci as it is now.)
