PCI-e vid card problem

All right. My system is working 100% correctly with a GeForce 6600, etc.

I get a used 6800 Ultra from a member of AT.

I go to pop it in, plug in a PCI-express cord from my PSU - no post, black screen.

I think that's weird, then clear the CMOS, go to post again. Still a black screen.

Swap out the 6800U for the 6600, 6600 posts fine.

Put the 6800U back in, no post. Swap the DVI adapter to the other port, reboot, still no post.

Fiddle with it, and it seems to be "raised" a bit on the edge closest to the case, as if it's not quite connecting with the motherboard (The card back has a very slightly raised angle), but other then that, there are 0 issues.

Suggestions on what to do/try/etc.? Anyone? I'd really like to figure out what is wrong, as it was good when the AT member sent me the 6800U apparently.
