Does someone know PCI-E (video and LAN) hardware running on WindowsNT?
Or Windows NT does not support new PCI-E hardware?
 
Windows NT as in NT 4.0 because XP and Vista are based around the NT core. I'm guessing that you're talking about 4.0 and I highly doubt that you could get PCI-E to work properly (if at all) underneath the platform as I'm sure that there aren't any drivers available. Why on earth would you want to try anyways?
 
If you need NT for legacy application support for some bizzare reason run it in a VM.

Otherwise avoid it. I realy doubt that you're going to get support for any remotely modern hardware.

Linux + VMWare Server + Windows NT in a VM.
 
Thank You people,
but what about performance (compared to clear WindowsNT)? I've just bought new DualCore AMD to increase performance.
 
Please stop using WindowsNT to refer to NT 4 as if it's the only release of NT, if you look you'll see that XP is NT 5.1 and Vista is 6.0.

But NT 4 isn't supported any more so you really should follow drag's advice and only run it under some form of virtualization if you really need it these days.
