PC3500 or PC3200?

Building an Asus P4P800 Deluxe system here. I have to order ram now. It's been suggested to me that I should use PC3500 ram over PC3200. Since I'm building 2 identical systems, the cost difference from PC3200 to PC3500 across 4-256MB chips is $64. (I'm looking at OCZ Performance ram.) I was also told that OCing the processor with this board did not require faster ram, that the processor could be OCed in the Bios without OCing the ram? Opinions?
