PC3200 and beyond

i am interested ina getting the san diego when it comes out for the 3700+ and the price gets lower, but the mobo's only support up to ddr400. is it possible to put faster ram in there to support my overclock? like say some pc4000?
 
yeah, you will just have to have a higher fsb than stock, then it will run your memory higher than 200mhz.

a lot of mobos are very picky about the memory type. make sure you get chips that are known to work well with the mobo. look on the internet.
