I think this the the same stuff you can get from Hardcorecooling.com, consists of V-data chips. I'd spend a few more bucks for it somewhere else with a better reseller rating, though.

Okay. I recieved the memory though I havent plugged it in yet.
I opened the heat spreader and the chips are made by Mtec. Im not sure if thats a sh|tty brand or not. However there is a big shiny TwinMOS sticker on the stick.
Ill check it out soon enough. If it rocks then 81 bucks for this mem aint bad.

Mtec? Who is that?

EDIT:

I just did some searching and Mtec is often paired with TwinMos in product descriptions, usually in Europe. If this stuff is really TwinMos, I'm gettin' me some :)

Any more updates on this deal? The price is down to $77 now and I'm looking for some memory for the Dell deal I just jumped on. The place is 5 mins from my house, I drive by it all the time to my friends place. :p

I am going to call tomorrow and see if they will let me pick it up in person.

here is a bit o resellerratings feedback on these guys

"WATCH OUT! I ordered their 512 DDR 400 CAS 2 (PC 3200) RAM, when I received the memory it only shows up as DDR 333. I called and the sales guys actually says "it?s over clocked" and wants to force my BIOS to think its 400. I say NO, I ordered DDR400, that?s what I want. He says ship it back and they will replace it. After 10 minutes of complaining they agree to reimburse me for the shipping charges, OK that?s good.
Over a week later receive the replacement, same crap 333 marked as 400.

Finally had to cancel the charge with my cc, also filed complaints with CA attorney general and the FTC. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! "

Thanks AAJax
Yah after taking a closer look at the reseller ratings comments, I guess its not worth saving a few bucks ordering from them. I figured since I live 5 mins away and they allow will call, I'd try it out and pick up some memory but I dont think its even worth it to give these guys any more business. Thats just flat out lying and false advertising.
