PC2700 versus "True" PC2700 memory

What's the difference? I read somewhere that "True" PC2700 memory runs at 6ns and just PC2700 is actually PC2100 memory o/c'd. Is that true? If so, what is the difference between the two?

ummm pretty much all pc2700 memory is running at true speeds. Before pc2700 spec was finalized that may have been the case, but not now.

There is not much difference between PC2100 and PC2700. Pretty much any RAM certified to run at 333MHz, especially after the spec was finalised, is "true" PC2700.
