I just called and they added the 2700 to the 512MB memory stick e-coupon that HP club is doing. Enough people must have moaned about it.

I did it and it worked also, but I'd much rather get DDR3200... any reports on whether or not this will overclock that high?

I have a stick that will overclock to 190MHz with a very slight voltage increase. I couldn't go higher but I suspect it was because of my AGP or PCI bus being out of spec., or perhaps my processor wasn't happy about the speed boost. I suspect the memory will go higher than 190MHz. It was still running at CAS 2.5 at 190MHz too.

You know, I really didn't need another stick of this. It was hard to resist at this price, though. I must sell all those FAR 256MB PC2100 sticks to make up for this purchase. :disgust:

Sorry to repost, but can someone please PM me the coupon code they used for the pc 2700 RAM? Thanks.

If you click the link in the second post in this thread, the coupon code is displayed on the left in a box.

Hey Mr. potatohead, call them up again and ask them to allow the coupon for PC3200.
Thanks
🙂

Will these sticks work in Nforce 2 Boards or no? Do they still have the incompatibility problems that I remember reading about with the Epox 8rda? Thanks
