pc100&133

It may not.

The older mobos are often picky about having the right RAM, but it's worth a try.

One complication in this is the change to PC-133 relatively early on. Relatively soon after PC-133 was first manufactured, there was a major change to it, such that there was both "pre-change" PC-133, and "post-change" as well. There were a few MB's around from that in between era, whenever it was (I recall the change going on when RAM was damn expensive, and I was running older systems that used whatever came before the SDRAMs and had a lot few pins than 168 in the slots, but I can't pin down in my memory WHEN that was).

🙁

Had to do with Single Sided vs Double Sided. All true PC100 is Single Sided only and maxes at 256MB;most newer PC133 is double sided and some motherboards just can't read it. I know - I have a couple. Watch sales, like Office Depot, and you can get 128MB sticks for $18, rather than $60+

cool. i have a 128mb pc100 and a 128mb pc133 coming in in a few days and wanted to know if it'll work. package was only $22 shipped so how could i refuse?
