pc won't boot up

power is plugged in, green indicator light is on, so I have power. I push the power on button and nothing. Where do I start to troubleshoot? It worked fine for 2 years and today it 's in the crapper.

Check to see if the power button has somehow come unplugged from the mobo or if there is a short in the power button. Also maybe the power button no longer functions correctly so it may need to be replaced.
 
If that doesn't work try disconnecting all the components like PCI cards, ram, CPU, and all the cables, then plugging them in again. Sometimes some part may get just alittle out of the connector and cause a problem.
