MOBO Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
CPU AMD Athlon 64 FX-53
Memory: PC 3200 EL 2-3-2-6 PN: OCZ4001024ELDC-K
Hard Drive: Raptor and a 20GB
Video: Jaton 7800GT
DVD Burner

Well I went to bios and had it do the whole testing instead of that quick boot and there where no error but once it got to desktop for about 5sec it would reboot.

2nd Problem the Raptor is currently not working. My raptor had the OS on it until I found out the Raptor stop working. I felt both of them and the 20GB was vibrating and t he Raptor wasnt.

I think its the electronic part. So do they sell pieces of those. I have some important info on there.

Please help

O also My computer was down for like 4 months so I put one of my memorys in to a Dell and it under clocked it to some low settings and now it stays there can some one tell me the settings for the ram. I got the 2-3-2-6 but what about those other one like trc trcf trwt trw.

Download and burn the entire Service Pack 2 installer to a CD, if your WinXP CD doesn't have SP2 built in already. Also get the latest nVidia nF4 motherboard driver package from http://www.nvidia.com/drivers and save them on CD as well.

Now make sure you've got your motherboard's EZ-Plug and ATX12V auxiliary power cables hooked up, as well as your video card's auxiliary power cable. Make sure the 20GB drive is the only one in the computer during installation.

Now unplug your network cable and any wireless network adapters, and reinstall WindowsXP from the CD-ROM. Before installing any drivers or whatnot, install Service Pack 2 and reboot. After that, install the nForce4 motherboard driver package, reboot, then video drivers last.

Regarding the Ratpro, make sure it has only one of its two power plugs hooked up. The 4-pin traditional one is what I'd use, much harder to come unplugged accidentally. If it still won't run, send it to a reputable data-recovery firm, and have your checkbook ready, because it's gonna cost you.

Alright but see Ive updated everything it was working about 2 days ago the video card was update, mobo chipset.
the only thing I could get to install was the new bios because that download wasnt working i tried downloading it but it was a install one I would dubble click it and it would ask what program to use with it.

I think what messed it up was the nvidia chip because I updated it and then I think when I restarted it messed is there a way to remove update.

So there is no way that I can get the raptor to work.

No offense, but if you could (1) use punctuation, and (2) try to be less vague. 😕 You're not making this easy to follow.

OK, you updated... something nVidia-related. Whether that means your video drivers or your motherboard drivers, I'm not sure. And then it wouldn't completely boot Windows anymore. Restart the computer, and begin tapping the F8 key repeatedly when you know the first Windows screen with the scrolling bar is about to appear. You should see a menu offering alternate boot-up modes. Try the Last Known Good option, and if that doesn't help, then try the Safe Mode option and uninstall the driver that you installed.

Ok sorry just alittle frustrated
Things Ive updated
nVidia Chipset(CK804) driver version V6.65 for Windows XP(WHQL).
Nvidia the newest update

Are you 100% positive the Raptor is not powering up? Maybe it's just quieter than you expected? Make sure its data cable is plugged into one of the motherboard fittings that are further to the right, marked SATA1 through SATA4, and not the ones marked SATA_RAID1 through SATA_RAID4. But first see about uninstalling the bad driver that's crashing Windows, using Last Known Good Configuration or else Safe Mode.

Ya its not working. Ive plugged it inthe SATA1. felt it when it was not on then when it was on nothing so its the motor or something on it becasue theres a chip on the back and I can feel it getting worm. How do I uninstall where I go to.
