I'm building a higher-end probably Intel Quad-core PC for use as a gaming rig and HTPC. I'd like to have the PC in another room and run a single HDMI cable for AV and a USB cable for Keyboard/Mouse (I know the limitations of USB cables..)
Are there any modern high-end video cards that support SPDIF in (to take digital audio from sound card) and HDMI out (to run to the 56" DLP in the next room)? The only one I can see is GeForce 8500GT, but I'm looking for something more high-end for gaming. I suppose I could SLI them, but I was looking at an 8800 model.
Any other thoughts?
