PC turn OFF

Hi,
I have problem with my new PC. If i do something in windows(browse internet...)pc works ok but if i start some applications, games pc freez.

MB=ASUS P5N-E SLI
CPU=C2D E4500
RAM=A-DATA 2x1GB DDR2 PC800 Extreme Edition
Video card=Gainward 8800GT 512MB DDR3 8927
PSU=Chieftec 500W PFC12 20/24 ATX12V 2.0
OS= Win XP Pro

It's probably heat related. See if you have the CPU heatsink on properly.

I think it is OK but at cpu-z i have core temperature 62C and i dont know if is this ok.

Should be about 1/2 that at idle.

That idle is way too high.. Shouldnt be above 50c idle.

50C at idle is still too high. My overclocked E6550 never not over 40C at full load. Also check for good air circulation throughout the case.
