I'm running 32-bit XP Pro.

I used to use Symantec's tool suite, which I still have on my XP Home laptop. I liked it, but it was perhaps overkill for what I used on it. One of the things I used a lot was the registry cleaner and defragmenter and I also liked the windoctor and general system cleaner.

What is everyone else's recommendation for similar or same?

I guess what I'm looking for is recommendations for similar items for my desktop/tower.

IMO CCleaner is the only "system cleaner and registry tool" that you need. It's also free. :)
