PC to PC file transferring

I just built a new computer and I want to get all my files off of my old pc. I searched google up and down but apparently I'm just not using the right search phrase. I figured since I can directly FTP from my xbox to my pc (over a router) I could just pop that cable out of my xbox and into another local computer and do the same thing.

I have flash fxp but I can't seem to get it to work between both PC's. I have a ton of music that I want to transfer and nero puts all my filenames in CAPS and reduces the filenames drastically which really sucks when it comes down to arranging playlists, let alone my lack of any cd-r's anyway. Any advice?

For the record, my xbox is assigned with an IP: 192.168.1.5 which I use in FlashFXP on my PC.

You do not need ftp or X-Box or any thing else to copy files.

Plug your new computer to the Router set its Network Settings, Set Sharing, Map the Drive and copy the files.
