PC to Mac messages

Hi,

Hope this is the right general area for this one, anyone know how to send messages (a la Netsend) between PC and Mac? The Operating Systems are NT/XP and OS9 - we've not yet experienced the joys of OSX yet...........

Any help gratefully received!
 
no... there is a way... sh!t... I know this...

i know that with two macs, when one is connected to the other as a client... the server can double click the client in the active connections group in the FS control panel and message them from there... I think you're SOL with mac to pc tho... srry...
 
Just a quicky.
I saved a *.rtf file in Apple works. I sent it to my windows machine via email, and it got sent as a *.dat file?
