PC to A/V Receiver Connection

I am trying to figure out the easiest way to get the audio from my PC in one room to my Audio/Video receiver in another room (without moving either component). I cannot run an audio cable between the two (not without great difficulty anyway. Even if I could manage it, does someone make a 50 foot audio cable?). Any thoughts?

if running cable isnt an option, some form of wireless audio signal would be the only feasible option...

i would survey your airwaves with netstumbler before buying anything. do you have wireless internet at your house or any cordless phones?

i did something similar, but my transceiver was in the same room. they do in fact make 50ft cables, if it comes to that...

Thanks again Jlazzaro. Between the cordless phones, intercom system and baby monitor, I think I am going to rethink using a cable. That means a trip into the attik.

There are linksys streaming audio things. I haven't used one personally, but they run on a wireless netwoerk and use file sharing.
