PC Suddenly shuts down and won't boot again!

My PC was on for about 3hrs today morning. I installed a software and the PC shut down immediately and is not
starting up again. I've opened it up and saw when I turn the power switch on the motherboard standby LED lits up. However pressing
the turn on key does nothing. Also the mouse lights lit up. Any help would be appreciated.

i3 2100 - Intel DH61WW - 2GB DDR3 - 500GB SATAII - Frontech 450W PSU.

What I tried : 1. Remove the battery and replace after a few minutes.
2. Cleaned the RAM.
3. Remove and Replace the processor heat-sink.
4. remove and replace ATX and 5V power cables.
5. Keep the PC on with MoBo in standby mode for a couple of minutes.
6. Changing the BIOS state to configuration mode.
7. Using a screw-driver to short the two pins trying to power on the PC.
I use the integrated graphics.
I bought the computer 1/2 a month ago.

I know that I know enough but I'm not so confident, too.. as I'm only 13.
Also, taking the MoBo out of the case and test it is not possible because my father will scold me if I do so.

Frontech 450W PSU.

This is likely your problem.

You'll have to spend more for an FSP, but at least it would actually provide the advertised 450W, with decent amps on the +12v rail, and it would be clean. Just stay away from those low-cost local brands, they are nothing but trouble.

Nope. But after just two weeks, your PSU should still be under warranty...I would suggest going back to the dealer and asking for the cost of the original PSU to be credited to you for a replacement.

Seems like the PSU is just fine. My old PC works with that PSU.
What could be the problem with the new PC?

a friend i knew had a similar problem.

his was solved by putting the RAM in the proper dimm slots for dual channel operation.

before that i had never seen a motherboard refuse to boot for having RAM in different configs, so long as the ram worked. that board wasn't so accepting though.

The board doesnt even boot without RAM and HDD. I've placed it on a towel. (non conductive)

The PSU is alright. Only the standby LED of the MoBo lits up.
