Hi.
i have an unlicensed copy of windows and today, for some reason, the activator stopped working.
A message popped up on my toolbar and it said that my copy is not genuine.

i tried reinstalling the activator and it told me to restart my computer. it took a while to shut down (5 minutes) and now when i try to turn it back on, its stuck on the motherboard splash screen

i cant even press delete to go into my bios

any help?

ps. i think my windows got deactivated after installing a windows update

You'll need to do two things. as soon as you press the power button keep tapping the f8 key to get into the bio's, before the boot sequence gets to the mobo splash screen, once in bios disable the "logo" or whatever its called, all that screen does is it prevents you from seeing the boot info, drives, usb etc.. Then you need to hop in your car, go to the nearest computer store, Walmart or whatever and get yourself a legit copy of Windows with an authentic key. Another option is forget windows and get your hands on a Linux based OS if money is an issue. Ubuntu is a good one to look into or there are others.
