PC Remote Control Software...

i need some software like pcanywhere that actually works and is reliable. i am running a couple computers on a lan in another room and have pcanywhere on them. unfortunately, pcanywhere's reliablity is horrible. i have the latest version and it sucks.

what would you recommend that has the same features as pcanywhere along with reliability?

I personally use Remote Administrator on my PCs on my LAN, and I can't find fault with it 🙂

Of course there's also VNC, in any of it's iterations, which is free 🙂

never had any problems with windows xp remote desktop...and it's the fastest desktop sharing program I've ever used.

If that's not an option, then remote administrtor (as linked above) is great. You may also consider tightvnc...

i've installed tightVNC, and i was wondering how the security of this is, it seems almost like a trojan. i'm using win2k and am behind a linksys router, i also have software firewalls installed on both computers am i safe enough?
