What are typical reasons for a PC rebooting (Running Windows XP Home) when doing things like:

- Scrolling through start menu
- Importing Tracks into Real One Player
- Installing Microsoft Office

PC Spec:

- AMD Athlon XP 2200+
- 512mb DDR Ram (PC2100, 2x 256mb Modules)
- ECS K7VTA Mainboard
- On Board Soundcard
- Nvidia Geforce2 MX400 Graphics
- 60gb 7200rpm Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive
- PCI Case 203W Case
- ADT 350W Power Supply
- Floppy Drive
- Samsung 16x48x DVD-ROM
- Traxdata (Jupiter TX) 40x12x48x CD-Writer
- Pinnacle Firewire DV Card
- 20gb MDT 7200rpm Hard Drive in Removable Drive Tray
- Coolermaster DP56J31C-0L Cooling Fan
- 2x 80mm Generic Fans
- Smartlink 56k V.92 Modem
 
The first thing to check in a situation that this is always power. The power supply itself (working/failing? clean voltage/ripple?) and connections (everything plugged in? check for potential shorts). Then start unplugging devices/removing cards one by one until the problem stops. The last device/card you removed is probably the problem, either in it's entirety or in conflict with another device.

Agreed. Power is a very likely culprit, especially in a system with so many devices. Also, don't forget the motherboard.
