PC randomly shuts down

Just recently I overclocked the computer in my sig and it seems perfectly stable. It runs Memtest86+ for 3 hours, SuperPi 32M, Windows Memtest for around 12 hours, 3DMark, and SP2004 for 24 hours. All without errors or any problems. Now just today I simply open up a video in MPC and it randomly shuts down. Is it normal if an overclock is too high to just shut down like this? Is it as simple as my overclock is too high and lowering it will fix it? Could it possibly be my PSU?

I know their are a lot of things that could cause this so I'm going to have to narrow it down, but if you guys could just start me off and help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

No, it did not before my overclock. So I do think it is because of the overclock, but I'm just not sure if the PSU just can't handle the overclock or if it is simply because my overclock is too high.

The PSU is a Fortron AX400-PN.

check the temps. make sure your fans and your cooling fins on your cpu heat sinks are clean....use canned air to blow out any dust. I had a similar problem that was caused by that....
