PC problem please help.

Ok I just bought a Asus A7V133 and a 1.33 266FSB Athlon. Well the problem is I get no beeps nore picture on my monitor. I tried all the setting I could think of and reseating everything even tried taking the BIOS battery out to reset the BIOS. Anyone got any suggestions? Also I just got the items and tried them out of my case because I do this when I upgrade to make sure it posts and everything. Would this have something to do with it maybe?

did you use thermal grease or does the HS have a pad on it?

somethings probably DOA, either cpu or mobo
