PC Probe - Read this !!!!!

I have as ASUS P3B-F motherboard and Probe 2.02 on the CD that came with the motherboard. I decided to download the newest version, V2.12.07 from ASUS website. I CAN'T GET THE DARN THING TO INSTALL!!!

I unzipped the file, then launched the setup.exe program. It doesn't exactly hang but it won't complete the installation.

Anyone had any similiar problems?

I'm pretty knowledgable at downloading and installing software from the internet but this has me puzzled.

Any thoughts???

The PC Probe program that comes with Asus motherboards is complete and utter crap. Even if you had gotten it installed you would notice that even when you have it minimized it flashes onto the screen at regular intervals and causes some games to crash. It is sucks

My recommendation is to remove all traces of it from your system and downloadMotherboard Monitor. I have been using Motherboard Monitor for a long time now and have not had any problems with it. It has 10 times as many features.

Yes, use MBM 5.06.
ASUS Probe's thermal sensor is crappy.
