PC Power PIII base systems - why so expensive???

Has anyone purchased a PIII base system from PC Power & Cooling before. Why is it so expensive?? I still can't justify the price.

Btw, The Tyan Trinity 400 motherboard costs about $100 retail. Is it a good buy for a stable P!!! system? (I'm not an overclocker).
