PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 QUAD in an Antec P182?

Hi,
i´m looking into creation of a new gamerig, wich should house 2 4870 sooner or later.
While looking for a psu i stumbled across the PC Power & Cooling SILENCER 750W QUAD S75CF which seem´s quiet sufficient to my needs. However it seems that, since it just pulls it´s cooling air out of the back of the case, instead of the interior it might be the wrong choice for the 182... Any ideas or suggestions?

btw i´m non-native to english, so just ignore any spelling mistakes etc. 😉

Wait you are saying it pulls are into the PSU? From reviews it looks like the fan orientation makes it exhaust air like a normal PSU

the fan on the PC Power and Cooling is an exhaust fan that pulls air from inside the PSU and exhausts it outside the case. You certainly don't want the fan dumping more hot air inside the case.

I see no reason why the PC Power and Cooling would be a bad choice due to your case selection.

You probably can't use the middle fan on that case in the tunnel. The power supply is a little longer, but that fan is stupid anyways and impossible to use if you have many hard drives. Great power supply and highly recommend it to everyone.

That fan is a pain in the ass. My friend picked up a Corsair TX650 (or maybe it was 750? I can't remember) and a P182 the other week. It was a pain getting the PSU cage over the PSU screwed down. Plus since it wasn't modular it was hard to get all the cabling done. We did mange it though and the fan is working fine. I'd try to keep the lower fan as it drops your HDD temps significantly.

Well then, i ´d love to keep the fan, as the partet and well cooled hdds are the main aspect in sticking to the p182.
On the other side i´m looking into Enermax Mod82+ 625W, but despite featuring 50a, i´m pretty worried it might be 2 small to supply a 4870 crossfire setup...any ideas on that? Should be small enough to fit the case though

Refering to the charts here, it should use no more then 421 lets say 450w, gues it comes down to the ampere question... and there should be the question why the hack amd didn´t certify anything under 750w for a xfire setup...it says 600w under min requirements though...

I have a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 in a P180 v1.1 (same as p182 layout) and I did have to remove the bottom chamber cage fan, but otherwise it works fine. and if you don't have HDD's in the bottom chamber you can keep the bottom fan too.

I have an Antec P180 and a PC Power & Cooling 610 watt unit. It too is one of the extended length PSU's.
In my case, the Power Supply was a pain to mount, but once I got it in, there was about 2 inches of clearance between the back of the PSU and the fan. I was able to run my cables just fine, it doesn't fit as easy as my old Enermax (about 5 years old), but it still fits none the less.

I also agree about the hard drives bein a pain. I use the lower cage for 3 drives and the upper cage for 2, and all the cables fit and the fan's run OK, but it was a lot of work to make everything fit the way I wanted it.
