** PC Partpicker "Potential Issue" Question...

I built a list on pcpartpicker of my build and I've had it for a couple weeks but today a message on the bottom just came up which says -

• 1 additional EPS power connector is needed.

I couldn't tell you for sure without knowing what motherboard and power supply are in your build now.

I would suggest reading the manual. On page 1-22 it says "Ensure to connect the 8-pin power plug, or connect both the 8-pin and 4-pin power plugs." The only one it says not to connect on its own is the 4-pin power plug.

Since that power supply does come with the 8-pin connector for the CPU, it appears you are fine without additional parts.

Keep in mind that this is just based on the parts you have shown us. It's pretty easy to show the entire build in a post, if you want to be sure nothing else is tripping the warning message.

Looks like it. Even the Corsair website lists the unit as having an EPS connector and 4 PCIe power connectors.
