PC not shutting down???

Ok wow for some reason I was shutting down my pc. But it's not. All my tray icons are shut down but my pc isn't???? This is very strange. Any idea's? I was shutting down my pc but didn't. Both my anti-virus caught it and I assume deleted it because it said it did. I ran both again to make sure and there's none detected. Any ideas? win32/trojanclicker.elf.dm trojan and win32/trojandropper.vb.lu trojan.

My first idea is that if you are running two anti-virus program, IMO, you are asking for trouble. Choose one good program and let that be it.

In the mean time, get your computer restarted and then shutdown both of your existing anti-virus softwares and then go to Symantec's website and run the free complete scan of your system for viruses.

Ok i'll do that. What is the problem of running two anit-viruses?

Well i tried running the virus detection in symantec, but it keeps running to an error called "avsniff.dll". I guess its part of symantec but for some reason it won't finish the scan.

Get rid of Norton. It's crap anyway.

Get Panda Antivirus Titanium + Antispyware. As far as the computer not shutting down did you run a disk defragmentation lately? That could be the reason why its not closing.

Its corupted windows jsut do a repair or reformat will fix everything

Repair the installation. Ditch your antivirus programs and get Zonealarm Security Suite and Spy Sweeper.
