Hi. My custom built has recently been acting strange and wont boot all the way. It seems to get stuck where it displays the processor type. When this happens it will just stay like this until I turn it off. It is starting to do this more frequent and I dont know whats wrong. Heres a pic of my screen Picture of Bios screen The specs are in my sig. Thanks!

Do you ever get all the way into windows?
Try reseting the CMOS. I would also guess your processor may be overheating. Reseat the heatsink and check your thermal grease.

Yup, Ive tried hitting those keys and it doesn't respond. It was doing this all day yesterday and I turned it on this morning and it finally booted to windows. This is pretty frusterating.. thanks for the help though

Yeah, I wouldn't trust a Rosewill power supply either.

According to a recent http://www.pcstats.com/ survey, 30% of failure to boot or system crashing is PSU related. Crappy or just plane old, >5years, PSUs are the single biggest PC hardware problem area.

Good server grade PSUs will live up to ten years at 75% load if not run hot.

Caps rated at 85C for 2000 hours will double thier service life for every 10C drop in operating temperature.

Just bored and felt like BSing.

Well, its been a while and I finally got a new PSU (Ultra XConnect 500w) The same thing happens. It just gets stuck at that screen. Im kind of mad now that I bought a new PSU and it never fixed the problem.
