Hey there. I decided to run a PC Mark 2002 benchmark test on my gaming PC...haven't done that in a while. I think my HD score is very low...don't know why.

Link to results.

Bottom line: CPU: 6327
Memory: 5196
HD: 989

What do you think?

Linky no workie, Shuttleteam..it brings me to the login screen. I think you need to click "test compare URL" or somethign like that, and paste that here. 🙂

Wow, nice scores guys. What HDs are you using? I have a single WD SE 80GB drive. It has four partitions on it...OS is on the first Part. of course..slow, though.

I miss my RAID 0. May have to buy another SE drive and a RAID card. 😀

Glad I'm not the only one. Do you happen to be using an NForce2 board? I remember reading somewhere about something to do w/slow IDE drive access on this mobo.

ill post mine in a few when i run it. but i should score around...

guess:cpu 8k mem 7k HD 1k (cpu might be estimated very high i forget what it was last time i ran it)

ok i was way off.

cpu 6050

mem 5591 (i think i could raise it if i put my ratio to 3:4 not 1:1)

HDD 426

OK, so i gotta figure out wtf is wrong with my HDD

120gb WD 2mb cache ata 100, and 80gb Maxtor 2mb cache ata 100.

Your mobo is NForce2, correct? Why is your HD score so much higher than mine and shock311's?

I'm using an 800JB as well.. only one partition, on a P4SDX. I'm not sure how the SiS655's IDE speeds are in comparison to other chipsets though.. I defragged it a couple days ago. Have ya tried that before running the test?

CPU Score 6591

Memory Score 4580

HDD Score 993 (needs defragging 🙂)

Hey there,

I've got another thread going here in GH that hopefully will shed some light on this.

Havent benched in awhile but here's mine anyway:

CPU: 5828
RAM: 3269
HDD: 882

XP 2400+
768mb PC2100 DDR
Seagate Barracuda IV 40gb
GA-7VTXH (KT266a)

No overclock or fiddling.
Oddly I used to get HDD a little over 1000 when using Win98se (Fat32, now using NTFS).

3DMark 2001 was 7838 (GF3ti200 @ 217/515; now 217/530)
