I don't know jack about macs but my sister has one and my nephew has a pc. They have a cox.net account and have to move to the new network but can't do it whatever way they were once they change to coxs' network, so........ Can this work with a router, a pc and a mac? The pc is running ME. All of the accounts I've moved to the new cox.net network are running dhcp so they are getting ip's dynamically, nothing static if that helps.

quite easily.. I've set up more than a few networks w/ PC's and macs behind a router sharing a broadband connection... any OS that can do tcp/ip will work, Mac's and windows's pc's included.

It's easy - just set up the Mac to use TCP/IP and get its settings from the server (which would be the router in your case). And voila', the Mac can use the broadband connection.

Cool, thanks guys. I'm going to take my lab router over and give it a try before I send her out to pick one up. She is running OS 9.x so it should be fine.
