I have an
AMD 2700
ABit AN7 motherboard
1 gig of kingston value ram
Antec Sonata Case
NVidia Gefore4 4200 (4x agp)
I recently installed City of Heroes. During gameplay the pc will sometimes crash (more often than not). It seemed to be because of a sound loop so I also added a SB Live 24 bit PCI to the system. This makes the systme hang up much quicker during COH and making an obnoxious sound. I think this shows that sound might have something to do with it but I decided to try to test everything else. I tried memtest86 which ran multiple times fine. Then I tried Prime95 which locks my pc in a matter of seconds. I dont know if this def is the same problem as what locks COH but should I be worried and or trying to do something to fix this?
Any hints on what changes I could make to my system to stabalize it would be greatly appreciated.
