Pc hardware prices to increase in december?

Is there any truth to hardware(mobo's, vid cards, cpu's, ram) prices($) increasing in december or even near Christmas time?

Based solely on the current array of possible wartime scenarios, I would say that rising prices across the board are to be expected.

Production costs may go up but demand will also fall so I doubt it. Believe it when you see it, computer prices going up rarely happens.

Considering that most of the major semi-conductor producers are on our side, the prices might actually fall.
