ok my pc has been hanging at post screen restarting works fine. this has been for a year now what i tried till now:
removed all usb peripherals
removed ssd
removed each ram one by one tried in both slots
changed psu wires for gpu ssd my psu has removable wires
checked every wire for short but no wire is teared not even a little
removed gpu tried with on board graphics
reinstalled windows just in case
now, today i cleaned my pc suddenly i found that without side panel of cabinet it is not hanging anymore and with it it hangs what could be reason?

Could it be related to a case open detection? What are the specs / model of your PC?

Some prebuilts have a switch that detects when the case is open, and may warn in the BIOS. Since you have a custom rig, I doubt that is it though. My guess then is that something is shorting on the case or blocking a fan or something when the case is closed. Check your wire management and possibly re-seat the motherboard in the case. What motherboard do you have?

as soon as i removed ssd from sata cable pc works every time then guess what now my ssd is not in slot its outside of case connected with all cables it works fine outside of case

Could this be P67 SATA degradation? Did you have an early-batch P67 mobo? Did you ever get it exchanged for a bug-fixed B1 revision chipset board?

Just throwing out some ideas here.

The bug was that the SATA port driving transistors had a weak one, and SATA could fail/degrade on some of the ports.

Could always try throwing in an ASMedia AHCI SATA PCI-E x1 dual-port card, just for the SATA SSD, to bypass that issue if it's that.

i have no knowledge regarding what you said i bought this motherboard in 2012 and there is no change since then looks like ssd is culprit here without ssd installed pc has never hanged at post screen what should i do if i go to rma it how will they check it ?
