pc hanging up on shut down since

ok, so since I installed my new card the pc hangs up when turning it off and when booting up its a little slow with the loading of stuff but only started when I installed the card.

at first I thought it was the catalyst slowing me down, but I uninstalled it and its still the same. so, right now I only have the driver and its still the same!!

now I have a intel machine, but I dont think that should make much of a difference.


machine includes the following,
E4300
GA-965P-S3
CORSAIR XMS2 (2 x 1GB)

Was just the other way for me, Had to get rid of my 2 8800GTS's I tried because my system wouldn't shutdown, Put in a 2900XT with ATI drivers and all was fine with my machine shutting down again.

Try and reinstall the drivers, maybe get a 3rd party driver from omegadrivers.net and see if that helps.

I kinda think it's your drivers too or a Bios setting..
