Pc gaming HELP!!!

Considering the integrated graphics processor on that computer is about 20-25% slower than a PS4, you are better off just buying a console at that price.

@OP

That is like the crappiest gaming PC imaginable. Seriously. It has a crappy CPU, a CRAPTASTIC video cart, and the whole self-advertising thing sounds like a total scam, I wouldn't touch it with a pole.

Avoid.

Really.

For games like GTA V and Witcher 3, you'll want to have at least a GTX 760 or a R9 280 on the graphics side, at least an 8 core AMD or a 4 core intel, and I'd recommend 16GB of RAM and an SSD.

Don't encourage him to buy a console especially in the PC gaming forum. We need more followers for our master race😉.Truth be told I'm probably take that crappy PC over my PS4.

Consoles can't play proper games. No FTL, no Project Zomboid, no Fallout 2, no Wasteland 2, no The Long Dark, no STALKER, no nothin'

The eBay PC is $400 USD. The OP asked if a system could be built for up to 400 pounds or $600 USD. OP, you could get a mid range gaming PC for $600 ... In the US. You could get a locked i5 based pre-built for about $450 leaving $150 for a fairly robust vid card. Your problem is that you are located in Europe and you have to deal with overly high prices for most anything AND that beloved VAT.

Unless you can find sellers in the US who are willing to ship on the cheap and are willing to declare the parts as gifts to avoid any tariffs ... It will be difficult to buy/build anything that will play advanced games on higher settings AND will remain relevant for a few years.

Just my 2 pence ...

🙁

OP,

I don't know if you noticed this little tid bit of information on your ad:

"PLEASE NOTE: An Operating System is not included with this PC."

Right from the start you are looking at another $100 unless you plan on using linux. That system would be "ok" as a low to mid level gaming computer if you are willing to buy a decent videocard but even then that CPU is lacking. For everyday use it would be fine. You are going to find that the price/performance ratios will start improving noticeable at around the $600-$700 price points. As much as I would love to tell you to dump all of your cash into a proper gaming PC, the simple fact is that if you are operating on a very tight budget a gaming console is a good route for now until you can save up for a proper machine.

Good luck!

now way that piece of junk can play witcher 3.

sadly, i have to agree with futurefields. if your budget is that low, buy a console.

Honestly, if your budget is that low, just save longer.

I know it's not a popular suggestion and no one with the itch to build/buy wants to hear it, but assuming you can save/earn/obtain a little more money in the next month or so, you'd be much better off saving for a bit longer (depending what your "savings rate" is, of course)

I don't disagree with that this is what someone might want, but it's not what is needed,at least not to get ps4 levels of gameplay.
You can build a cheap upgradeable system and play gta5 with it, not at 60+ fps but at 30+fps.
A g3258 8gb mem and a r7-260 would be great for starters, and you can upgrade it when and if you need to.

Even the lowliest celeron can pull 25fps while recording gta 5.
