PC games hitching and memory errors.

About a week ago, I overclocked my CPU moderately. I raised the clock speed from the default of 200 MHZ to 210 MHZ. Shortly after, I noticed strange symptoms in games. Despite getting more than 60 FPS in games like Mirror's Edge and Portal, nearly every game I've tested has had brief lapses where the video seems to stop completely for a split second. Also, games have sporadically crashed with the error code 0xc0000005, a memory access violation. Driver Verifier induced a BSOD with the "BAD_POOL_CALLER" error and the codes 0x000000C2, 0X0000009D, 0X0000007B, and 0X00000001. I've already tried memtest, but it found no errors. I immediately restored the stock CPU setting when I noticed the errors. Is there anything else I should try to find a solution to the problem? I have another motherboard and stick of DDR2 RAM (the motherboard I'm currently using isn't DDR2 compatible), and I've considered swapping the motherboards, but I actually bought the currently installed motherboard because I was concerned that some part of my PC might be damaging video cards.

I just tried switching both the motherboard and the memory. I haven't noticed any improvement, unfortunately.

what is your operating system. xp vista or 7.what kind of ddr2.
the best thing to do is to run a mem test. but am pretty sure you have a bad ram.or rams.
