PC game recommendations?

What PC games would you all recommend? I played Black&White,Oni,Half-Life,Undying,NFS5,UT,Quake 3,No one lives forever,ect,ect.

Any killer games I need to get?
 
Last games I really got into:
Unreal Tournament
Deus Ex
Soldier Of Fortune
System Shock 2

Like shudder mentioned - wear headphones. I'll add with the lights turned off. In System Shock 2 you really feel like you're on some huge spaceship all alone out in the boonies. Freeeeeeaky.

I'll second Tribes 2. I'd say a good system was more important then a good internet connection. I play on a 56k, and it's decent, just as long as my family stays off the network.

With your Geforce, Tribes 2 should run great. The Voodoo owners had problems, but Sierra has since toned down the graphical quality in the game to accomadate them.

If you want to see what it looked like before the VooDoo patches, load up Single Player/Lan mode and host a lan game. Don't get too attached to it though, cause as soon as you go online, it'll patch itself to the latest version, and the fog will appear. 🙁
 
I just finished System Shock 2 and it was by far the scariest game I've ever played. I just kept jumping out of my seat. The name is very appropriate.

If anyone likes strategy/RTS, Kohan:immortal sovereigns is a great game. Play the demo. Should tide me over till Warcraft 3...
 
I just bought the newly released Emperor: Battle for Dune. It's a fun game. The graphics kick and the FMV sequences are excellent.
 
Most definatly Deus Ex. I absolutly loved it. really great game...and maybe BG II. Some of my friends loved it, some hated it...i guess if you like RPGs it is the best out there...

Hitman is a really fun game and has nice graphics. I would wait for Max Payne though, that game is gonna own. I got my pre order in 🙂
 
Black and White is addicting at first, but get's really boring and repetive after a while.

For FPS's, System Shock II is good, but I liked the gameplay (not the graphics) of 1 much better. If you never played it, go back and do so.

Also, UT and CS are great.

If you like RPG's then Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 are both good.

Strategy? Starcraft is still the best.

Diablo II is good too.
