Here is what I'm considering to get. Any issues? Any suggestions?

  • Case: Asus Prime AP201 Small Tower
  • Motherboard: MSI PRO A620M-E AMD AM5 A620 DDR5
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8GHz AM5
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x32GB DDR5 4800MHz CL40
  • SDD: Seagate FireCuda 510 M.2 NVMe 2TB SSD
  • Power supply: Seasonic FOCUS SGX (2021) 550W 80 PLUS Gold SGX-550

If that's your use case, I would just go for a cheaper AM4 MB/DDR4, and 5700G (or 5600G for even more savings).

Are you are going AM5, then maybe go with an 850W or 750W PSU, in case you ever get a dGPU, and consider DDR5-6000 CAS 30/32 EXPO-compatible RAM. (I can't stress the expo-compatible more, for AM5 platform usage.)

Although, that's overclocking for the RAM, I guess, and your choice of DDR5-4800 would be stock.

igor_kavinski - Yes, hard to argue with facts. However AMD contradict themselves by proclaiming 6000 MT\s is the "sweet" spot for 7000 series. :confused: Encouraging OC on IMC is voiding warranty afaik.
