PC entering power save mode

I have a HP f1503 and keep getting the PC entering power save mode error. I've tried the monitor on another computer and it works fine. I don't know the exact specs of the PC because I've never had it on.

I've reset CMOS by taking out the battery, I've swapped the jumpers around to all configurations and tried getting into bios. I've f1, f5,f8,del tons of other f's on reboot to get into bios. I tried another HDD and still no luck. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks

PC entering power save mode or your monitor?

If its the monitor then the video card/onboard video is either overheating or going bad.

Well, I'd assume it's the PC "Warning PC entering power save mode". I guess it's the PC I've tried the monitor on another computer and it works fine. I just reset the bios again and nada. I don't even know if the keyboard is responsive though. I put a optical mouse on it and the laser dosen't come on so I tried the mouse on a different computer while off and the laser comes on. My only guess is that it's a MOBO failure.
