Awesome post. No tax or anything.

Not at all a good game, but for the cost of the rebate postage, I'll give it a try. :)

Good deal, but as Tiembo said, not at all a good game. It's alright, but they could have made it a lot better. Free is Free though.

Just asking here, but I heard this was the'buggiest game ever', aside form 'Lara Croft: AoD'... like it would loose saves a lot, wacky stuff would happen, crashes, etc.... has anyone played this? What would you reccomend?

It's kinda sad to see ETM join the bargain bin titles. What was supposed to be a killer game was rushed out the door in order to be released alongside Matrix Reloaded. Sure, it sold many copies and was a good move in the business sense, but gamers deserve better. Such is the case with many games...sometimes people can't see past the money.

Too bad I bought it when it had the $30 rebate ($9.99 AR) from Amazon.
Less than a month ago, but no one does price protection on rebates, right?

I heard the same and even saw a video someone did to show off some of the silly game bugs.. I got a good laugh out of that. hehe..

But for me, no. I beat the game on PC with Ghost and had no crashes nor weird bugs. I also played halfway through with Niobe and same story. Game ran perfect.

There's only 2 complaints I had though. The game had the choppiest aiming ever in first person mode. But for some reason, I think the developers did that on purpose. And the game shipped without EAX HD support, although it's supposed to be there. It was quickly fixed with a patched a day or 2 after the game was released though.

I played through about 1/2 of the game with Niobe and just quit. It would crash constantly. The gameplay was very exciting and unique for about 5 minutes and then it wore off quickly. It got very monotonous. Run...Jump...Shoot...Slow-Motion-kung-fu some poor digital enemy...Repeat 10,000 times. Free still isn't enough for me to play that game again. They need to PAY me!

At least you could get it to install! I could not get a working installation despite three separate attempts on a Windows SE machine, and got repeated inappropriate error messages about inserting the wrong installation disk (there are 4, count 'em, 4 installation CDs with this game) while trying to install on a WinXP Pro machine---and that installation tanked also. I actually made some money on my purchase of the game via rebates and AMEX BVG pricematching, but it STILL wasn't worth it.
