PC-DVD Ovation 12x/40x from creative labs with windvd soft decode...any good??

Any experience with this DVD and software would be appreciated.

Love my pioneer but this one is cheaper and has a 5.1 software decoder. (Need one for a new system I'm building.)

You could get WinDVD 2000 2.3M and have 5.1 software decode...no need to buy a new DVD ROM...

Edit: hmmm I bit slow today...I assume you mean you are a building a different system and want it. Well personally I'd stay away from it because Creative CDROMs have been horrid to me, and their CDRWs are worse....I haven't specifically used a Creative DVD ROM but their optical drives in general frighten me hehehe

Hmmm....yes, I'm getting the feeling you don't like CL dvd drives.

Maybe thats why they are so cheap price wise.
