Hi all,

My PC has the blue screen when starting up. I tried all the options that it gave me, but still it is not starting up correctly. I recently upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Any suggestions is appreciated.

What is the STOP: error code on the blue screen? And has anything else changed recently other than the OS upgrade?

Then it state Press "Restart" to restart your PC, which can sometimes fix the problem. You can also press "Advanced options" to try other options to repair your PC.

I had to reboot Windows to default. While I was able to save files in two of my drives, my main drive with Windows got all its files deleted. Now I got back Windows 8.1. Will not upgrade to Windows 10 again.

The OS and data files should not exist on the same drive and is something that I learned a very long time ago. I too had issues with upgrading on my desktop that a clean install fixed. I've also had issues with 10 system files becoming corrupt in a short period of time. Unfortunately MS is pushing 7/8 users to 10 via WU with embedded updates.
