My PC makes a sound like or "scratches",and then sometimes just turns off. What I do is unplug the cable to the PSU and its fine again. I took it to a pc shop and for some reason is didnt make any noise and didnt shut down once. But now its home it does the same thing. Any ideas ?


Its not temp or my hard drive, so what is it ?

Try using getting an UPS or line conditioner {would reccomend anyone to have it anyhoots}
 
Can you record the sound as an MP3, then upload it somewhere for us to download, that way we can properly diagnose your problem?
