PC clock keeps jumping ahead 18 mins. Why? virus?

I keep resyncing my clock with the atomic clock servers by double clicking on the time, then selecting the internet time tab, and pressing "Update Now."

Less than an hour later, I am ahead 18 mins.

Could be a network timekeeper.

Its a temporal rift. Reverse the polarity of the contact buffers. If that doesn't work, then try modulating the refresh frequencies.

are you overclocking it?

i had a problem like this when i worked at the bios company..turned out a bios needed to set a bit in the code.....i think it was due to it being a tualitin processor though

I thought the CMOS battery was the problem as well.

What OS are you using? Also might want to post this in "Operating Systems" as well. I know you won't get quick responses, but people usually give you the answers you need.
