My friend wants me to build her a sempron system using this motherboard and sempron 2200+ retail. I figured "sure why not got my amd 64 system online in minutes this should ne easy right?" nope wrong. I powered it up and the onboard video was coming up fine. It said the usual CMOS settings need to be configured but also said the battery was low. didnt think nothign of it and a few reboots later no video is no longer coming on. Whats the deal? All I got connected is 256mb DDR 2700 the CPU fan keyboard monitor all the basics wanna work on getting it to boot before I throw in the ide stuff. Oh I put in a new batary a fresh on and its still not booting the sytem turns on though I can feel air from the CPU fan and the power supply. I tried to clear CMOS and nothing. Giving me such a head ache 🙁

oh yeah almost forgot it was showing the screen like I said above then I decided to turn around the heat sink/fan casue it wasnt all covering the CPU so I turned it around and since then wont show any video. Also I turned i back to were it orginally was and still nutin.

yup I did but figured it out now. I put in my "old" xp 2600 cpu in it instead of the sempron and its working fine UGG now I gotta RMA that sempron CPU and I just got in the mail thank god it was retail.
