PC Case

I am looking for a case with plenty of room and good airflow. I have these options so far and would like to hear anyone who has had experiences or knows something about these cases:

I can only buy at Amazon 🙂

Thanks !

Only amazon? I assume cause of gift certificates or something?

Of those cases, I'd go for the Thermaltake Elements, or the Thermaltake VJ400

You want the Cooler Master Storm Scout.

x2, just picked this up a few months ago. AWESOME price too, I think I paid $10 more and I got a good deal. I really really like this case, I think for the price it can't be beat. I would even have gladly paid more for it now I've used it.

What about an Antec 900? Its only $8 more than the Cooler Master HAF 922:

why should he? there have been tons of complaints about the case layout of the 900, and that when you use all 6 hard drive cages most current video cards (see GTX260 or longer) dont even fit properly, cause the hard drives themselves, let alone the cables, block the card or it's power connectors. with the 922 this isnt a problem, and the 922 has more internal space and better cable management as a whole, as well as more airflow.

It was just a suggestion.

I agree with the layout issues. I just bought one (cause I got it for $45 bucks) and it took me like 3 hours to get everything set up. Cable management is the worst. There just isn't enough internal room for all the power supply cables and such.

I just got a HAF 922 [see another thread I started in this forum.]

I see that ThermalTake has comparable models with 22-cm fans. I'm only guessing that CoolerMaster preceded TT.

And CM has a growing range of designs. The only thing I don't like about the Storm Scout -- what appears to be a 140mm front intake fan, as opposed to something more substantial. But 140mm is more than enough.

It looks as though the design with the handles incorporates something of the Cosmos, which I found lacking in airflow.

This is the one at the top of my list for that price point. Beyond that, going up to $100+ mark, I like the CM Sniper or the new LanCool PC-K62. 😀
