I always leave off a side panel of my computer. Is there an advantage/disadvantage to leaving it off at all times? Just wondering.
 
advantage:
Faster access
somewhat better cooling?(i would think closed case with proper airflow will be more efficient)
addes Geek+2 to your stats

disadvantage:
Noise
dust
stuff getting in it causing problems (feet, cat, spilled pepsi... etc)
